As a very frequent traveller, pre Covid, I travelled internationally extensively for work & holidays. I never really gave much thought to any pre travel planning, except packing and itinerary planning for a different country! After 2.5 years of no international travel

and our increased awareness of Covid – everything has changed. When Susan mentioned the Travel Heathy Consultation, it occurred to me that no matter how informed & well read one is – there is always something that is forgotten or an unknown. The biggest frustration was the constant changes in country restrictions & how to ensure Preparedness for Covid, the Flu, etc How to stay well before travel How to cope with Covid or the Flu while overseas Susan ensured the process was seamless – we went through my itinerary, activities planned, my current medications and my preparedness for travel, etc I came away with information I had not thought of, a list of helpful pretravel and travel ‘must haves’ & ‘must dos’. It has been very helpful & I now feel much more prepared for my upcoming trips. The world has changed drastically, in the past 2 years – and its good to know that travelling is not over and as long as one is careful & sensible – travelling can still be a joy! Having not travelled overseas in 3 years due to the COVID19 pandemic and having not travelled to South America before I was nervous and unsure about what I should be packing in my medical kit and what things I could do to best keep myself well so

I could enjoy my trip to the fullest. Travel Healthy took the time to go over my medical history and vaccinations that I have had and suggested the ones that I should have done before my trip. They provided information about different medicines I could take to help avoid food poisoning and how best to manage any pre-existing medical conditions that I had while I was over there. They assisted in helping me create a first aid and medical kit that was specifically tailored to my medical needs and the locations I was going and advised me on the best ways to remain covid safe during my travels. I knew that even while I was travelling I could shoot them an email about any enquiry that I had which also provided peace of mind on my trip.
